Last Post For Approximately A Week Or Sooner I Hope

Well Folks, I Needed To Come Online And Announce Some Away Time From The Network With Much Sadness. Due To Temporary Financial Hardships Me And The Family Are Going Through, The Computer We're Renting Is Going To Be Picked Up Until We Can Get Caught Up On Payments. So This Will Be My Last Post Until Then. I Apologize For Any Inconvenience This May Cause Any Of You. You Will Be Missed Until My Return.

So My Last Post Until Then Will Be My Testimony As It Should Be. Well, Me And My Family Are Going Through A Few Difficulties Financially & Spiritually. I Know That God Can't Always Give Us What We Want, But He Provides Us With What We Need. I Tell You, People, Without The Gospel Actively In Our Lives As It Is, Our Problems And Hardships Would Me So Much Worse. But We're People Of The Covenant. We Are Members And We Are Devoted To Family And The Gospel Equally. I Can't Express Enough How Grateful And Blessed We Are That At Least Now & Forever I'm Active Again And Have Promised Myself And God That I Will Never Stray Again. My Definition Of Happiness Used To Be So Different. But The Gospel Is The Only True Happiness. I Couldn't Imagine Being Any Other Way And It Feels So Right. It Is So Right. It Is The Most Righteous Of Anything Else - To Raise My Family With The LDS Gospel As Our Way Of Life - So Much More Than Just A "Religion" Or Religious Stereotype. This Is Truly Who We Are, What We Stand For And What Its All About.

A Few Weeks Ago, I Made A Trip To The Church Office Building Here In Salt Lake City To Request A Copy Of My Patriarchal Blessing. I Received It When I Was 15. That Was Half My Life Ago. If You Are A Return Visitor Here You Know That I Fell Away When IWs 17-18 And Just Came Back This Year. During That Time I Lost My Copy Of My Blessing - Because I Lost My Way. I Wanted The Copy Of It Because I Needed To Know What I Couldn't Remember. I Got It In The Mail Over The Weekend. I Cried And Cried Because In Reading It, So Many Things Made Sense And Had Come To Pass That Didn't Make Sense Before. I Can Appreciate It And Live By It Now. I'm So Glad Now More Than Ever That I Got It And Just That I Came Back To Church For Good. I Am Who I Am Today And I Love It.

An Amazing Thing Happened As Well And It Was One Of The Amazing Magical Answers We As Mormons Can All Identify With That Ironically But Fortunately Only Happens To Mormons As Part Of Our Promise In The Plan Of Salvation. As You Probably Know, Last Week, (And Its Been Heavily Publicized All Over This Network), I Began My Family Search - My Genealogy. I've Been Lost About It. I'm Still New To It And Its Been Discouraging That There Is Little If Anything At All About My Ancestors, Even Ones Who Have Been Deceased For 30 Or So Years. My Uncle Gale Rasmussen Died In The 70's, The Same Decade I Was Born In (1975) And My Aunt Died Over 3 Years Ago. Still No Record Of Even The Deceased. My Father Who Died When I Was 2 Was Not Listed. I'll Be 30 In December. Last Year, Even My Own Mom Lost Track Of My Age. She Thought I Has Turned 30. Okay Mom. I've Had Almost Nothing To Work With. But In My Patriarchal Blessing, It States Enough About My Ancestry For Me To Have A Clearer Idea Of Where To Start. But Perhaps I Should Talk To Sister Colleen Kidd Our Ward Family History Secretary About More On Researching Family History. Ironically, We Had A Wonderful Speaker In Sacrament Meeting Today Who Spoke About Family History. Thank God For Those Wonderful Magical Mormon Miracles Once Again! See, GOD GIVES YOU WHAT YOU NEED!

Regardless, The Point Is That Through My Patriarchal Blessing And My Life's Path And Being A Member, My Blessing Said So Much And I Know That My Blessing Is My Life's Plan Because It Was Given 15 Years Agoo And Much Of It Has Come To Pass. Through It I Can Testify That Much More Of Jesus' Love For Us Through His Ultimate Sacrifice For Our Salvation And Redemption After The Fall. I Know And I'm Eternally Grateful That A Daughter Of God Is Who I Am And A Mother And That I'm On The Right Path. I'm Right Where I'm Meant To Be In Life. I'm On My Way Back Home And I Can Get Through Any Stumble Or Road Block That Satan Would Throw My Way To Stop My From Returning To My Heavenly Father. The Devil Aims To Hit You Hard With It Where It Hurts The Most But Misses Every Time When It Comes To Heavenly Father & Jesus' Power & Love.

Throug It I Know That No Matter How Hard Things Are For Us Right Now That This Too Shall Pass. I'm Getting Us Ready To Receive All The Covenants And Blessings That Have Been Promised To Me. I'm Just Glad For My Life And My Way Of Life Through The Gospel. I Don't Want To Raise My Family And Live My Life Any Other Way. I Won't, I Refuse To Live Any Other Way. I Say These Things In The Name Of Jesus Christ, Amen.

Hello Everyone! Good Morning. I'm Still Awake Because I Just Launched My Family Research And Preservation Website At Rootsweb.com. Its Linked To Our New LDS Family Domain MyFamilyAncestry.tk And SullivanRasmussen.tk. These Are Sites Designed With The Intent Of Family Research & Genealogy Which Is Something That Gordon B Hinckley, The Prophet Of Our Church Has Commanded Us To Do. I Am Actually Quite Exited To Do This For My Family. If You Have Been Following Up With Our LDS Family Network Lately, You Know That It Is Something That Is Really Important To Me And I Have A Lot Of Members Of My Rasmussen Side To Do It For And To Connect To Members Of My Estranged Family - The Sullivans Whom I've Never Met Due To Family Complications Dating Back To Before I Was Ever Born. And I've Always Intended To Appeal Carter's Adoption For I Have Strong Grounds To Do So. 6 We believe in the same organization that existed in the Primitive Church, namely, apostles, prophets, pastors, teachers, evangelists, and so forth.

7 We believe in the gift of tongues, prophecy, revelation, visions, healing, interpretation of tongues, and so forth.

8 We believe the Bible to be the word of God as far as it is translated correctly; we also believe the Book of Mormon to be the word of God.

9 We believe all that God has revealed, all that He does now reveal, and we believe that He will yet reveal many great and important things pertaining to the Kingdom of God.

10 We believe in the literal gathering of Israel and in the restoration of the Ten Tribes; that Zion (the New Jerusalem) will be built upon the American continent; that Christ will reign personally upon the earth; and, that the earth will be renewed and receive its paradisiacal glory.

11 We claim the privilege of worshiping Almighty God according to the dictates of our own conscience, and allow all men the same privilege, let them worship how, where, or what they may.

12 We believe in being subject to kings, presidents, rulers, and magistrates, in obeying, honoring, and sustaining the law.

13 We believe in being honest, true, chaste, benevolent, virtuous, and in doing good to all men; indeed, we may say that we follow the admonition of Paul--We believe all things, we hope all things, we have endured many things, and hope to be able to endure all things. If there is anything virtuous, lovely, or of good report or praiseworthy, we seek after these things.

My Family Ancestry

The Previous Post Here Was That I Had Gone To The FamilySearch.org Web Page And Thought That No One Had Done Geneology In My Family. I Was Wrong. I Asked My Mom About It The Next Day Because I Told Her I Felt Like Crying My Heart Out About It. But She Told Me That Many Rassy's Have Worked On The Geneology (THANK GOD!) And That If I Look Through My Family History Book That Our Wonderful Family Historian Aunt Sue Made For All Of Us That I Would Find A Lot Of Records (What A Relief. You Tell Me What Kind Of Pressure I Felt Feeling Like I Had To Do Geneology Directly Connected To The Over 500 Members Of My Immediate Family. We'd Have Enough To Start Our Own Ward If We Weren't Scattered All Over Most Of Utah, Arizona, California, Wyoming, Idaho And Many Other Parts Of The US). Well At Least I Know Where To Start And I Was Approved For A Free Web Site At RootsWeb.com To Begin To Work With These Family History Projects. More Of Gods Work To Be Done With A Faithful Heart And A Cheerful Attitude For The Opportunity To Do God's Work. I Know For Certain That There Are A Few Members Of My Family Who Are Deceased Who Would Possibly Need The Work Done So Their Baptisms Can Be Done By Those Of Us Alive. Hopefully I Can Do This. A Trip To The Church Office Building

Good Morning Everyone! I Just Wanted To Come Online Today And Say Hi To All Of You Wonderful People Out There In Blogger Land. I Won't Be Around Much Today. Yeah, I Know You All Will Miss Me VERY MUCH! LOL. I Am Going To Go Pay A Visit To The Church Office Building Today Because I Need A Copy Of My Patriarchal Blessing. I Got That When I Was 15. I Can't Believe I'm About To Say - THAT WAS HALF MY LIFE AGO. WHOAH Nelly! I Feel Old. I'll Be 30 In December. No Actually I Look Forward To Turning 30 - A New Era In My Life. I Can Say Hello To A More Mature Generation Of My Fellow 30-Somethings Who Have Survived The 20. So People Tell Me I'm Crazy Because How Many 29 Year Olds Are LOOKING FORWARD TO AGING! Not Like You Could Ever Tell This About Me. People Still Say I Look 21. How Do You Explain 3 Children - The Oldest Being 9? Okay. So Anyways, It Is For My Little Darlings And Because Through My Rebellion That I Lost My Patriarchal Blessing And Need To Get It - My Life Map - So I May Receive The Answers. All I Remember About It Was "Your Children Will Love And Respect You....You Should Be Careful To Get Your Education As Much As Possible As To Alleviate Problems That Would Otherwise Come To You....You Will Learn Just As Your Mother Learned That There Will Be Light And Joy....One Day A Man Will Enter Into Your Life Who Has Also 'Made Sacrifices. He Will Come To You At The Appropriate Time In Your Life...." I'm Just Paraphrasing Here Because I Don't Have A Perfect Memory (Hence The Reason I REALLY Need To Get It) And, But It Proceeded To Tell Me That I Would Be Sealed In The Temple To Him For Time And All Eternity. So I Still Have A Marvelous Mission To Fulfill Here On Earth. But Just Relaying What I Remember Of My Blessing Just Brings Tears To My Eyes Because I Know How Important It Is Today To Go Get My Patriarchal Blessing - My Life Map - So I Can Know What I Need To Do And So I Can Have Some Missing Parts Of Me Revealed. If Time Permits, I May Just Visit The Temple Grounds. I Just Feel Heart Tickled Thinking About It....But Once Again I'm Glad I Live In Salt Lake, The Great Promised Land Of Zion. Because If I Lived Elsewhere, I'd Have To Wait Longer. So Anywho, Wish Me Luck! I'm So Exited. I Know That Just Getting To Visit The Church Office Building Is Going To Be A Remarkable Experience That I Will Enjoy That Much More Since I Came Back To Church. But It Also Makes Me Wonder What Things May Come Of Nicholas, Shelden And Carters Patriarchal Blessings. But Its Personal - Between Them And God. But As Their Mom, I Just Want To Know What's In Store For Them In Life. So We Will See What Today Brings And I Will Report Back Later! Have A Great Day!
